What We Do

We lay hedges in the South of England style, this means the finished hedge has a double brush i.e. brush is left on both sides of the hedge, plus stakes and binders are put in along the centre line. The hedge plants are pleached, which means cut through until they can lay over and be built up to form the hedge. The stakes are driven through the centre to hold the plants in line, and the binders are wound through the stakes to give the hedge strength.

Once layed, a hedge can be trimmed to control the new growth and maintain the desired height.
